For the last quarter of 2019, we are going to focus on the Truck Series. Torrance, California is the home of Parnell Velko “P. J.” Jones. Jones has raced in a number of national racing series. While he has three wins in the Indy Lights Series, he hasn’t had much success anywhere else. This is kind of an odd paint scheme. In the winter of 1995, before the first Truck Series season, NASCAR held a number of what were called “winter heat races,” to see how the racing would go. In that race, PJ Jones raced the #1 P.J. Jones #1 Vessels Stallion Farm Chevrolet C1500. It’s a smooth look with a great paint scheme, and that will always earn an A.
