1995 Ward Burton #95 Cat Chevrolet Monte Carlo

South Boston, Virginia is the stomping ground of the Burton brother, Ward and Jeff. Ward has 9 wins, 5 in the Cup Series and 4 in the Xfinity Series. He is the winner of the 2001 Southern 500, and the 2002 Daytona 500. In 1995, Burton raced for Buz McCall in the #95 CAT Monte Carlo. He had a top 10. The car has a great look, I think the color scheme works well, and the car isn’t over designed. A

I'm just a normal guy who collects race-worn driver suits, helmets, sheet metal, and other race-worn items. I will use this blog to help collectors, and race fans alike understand the various aspects of driver suits and helmets, and commentate on paint schemes.

  1. Ward Burton never drove the #95. That was David Green, Todd Bodine, Mike Bliss, Ron Fellows, Steve Grissom, Ted Musgrave, Hut Stricklin, Mike Bliss and Kevin Lepage. And it was in 1997/1998

In 1995, Ward drove the Hardee’s #31, got let go after a #6th place finish at Michigan, then hopped into Bill Davis’ #22 at Bristol the next week. And won at Rockingham 6 weeks.
